The Solomon Technologies cross-charger functions in two modes: either as a power supply with a maximum current of 25 amps, or as a battery charger with a maximum current of 30 amps to maintain 12V house-power batteries. The output is isolated from the input. As a battery charger, it keeps house batteries in a float mode at 2.3 volts per cell, or 13.8 volts per battery.
