DANBURY, Conn., Oct. 20 -- Technipower Systems, Inc. (TECZ.PK) formerly Solomon Technologies, Inc., announced today that Tom Thompson, a veteran solar industry professional and member of Technipower's Advisory Board, has been named Director of Renewable Energy Systems, where his responsibilities will include sales and marketing of the Instant Solar™ products and expanding Technipower's presence in all facets of the renewable energy space.

Technipower Awarded Missile Defense Power System Contract

DANBURY, Conn., Oct. 13 -- Technipower Systems, Inc. (TECZ.PK) formerly Solomon Technologies, Inc., announced today that it has been awarded a contract to supply power systems for a missile defense system manufactured by a well known, tier one military defense contractor. The contract is a part of an international $3.3 billion program awarded to Technipower's customer.
